Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Advancing Homoeopathic Research in the Management of Metabolic Disorders

1. OBJECTIVES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Vision:
To establish a nationally recognized Centre of Excellence dedicated to advancing scientific, translational, and clinical research in Homoeopathy for the management of metabolic disorders.
Major Objectives:
•To scientifically validate the efficacy and safety of homoeopathic medicines used in metabolic disorders.
•To develop an integrated research platform combining basic science, translational research, and clinical investigations.
•To identify bioactive compounds and molecular targets of selected homoeopathic medicines through modern analytical techniques.
•To generate evidence-based data through in-silico, in-vitro, in-vivo, and randomized clinical studies.
•To strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration among premier academic and research institutions.
•To contribute to the development of affordable, safe, and evidence-based healthcare solutions for chronic metabolic diseases.

Key Achievements and Expected Outcomes:
•Development of a comprehensive research framework for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Metabolic Dysfunction Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD).
•Establishment of advanced research facilities for chemical profiling, nanoparticle characterization, and biological evaluation.
•Integration of Homoeopathic principles with modern biomedical sciences through reverse pharmacology.
•Creation of collaborative research networks involving leading scientific institutions.
•Generation of scientific evidence supporting the translational application of Homoeopathy in metabolic disorders and other disorders.
•Promotion of high-quality publications, patents, and future technology transfer opportunities.
